390. Gregory Cook. Born say 1615 in England. Gregory died on 1 Jan 1690/1 in Watertown, MA.11 Occupation: cordwainer, or shoemaker.
Gregory, of Cambridge, was a selectman of Mendon 1669. He owned a farm of 112 acres between Angier’s Corner and the Watertown Bridge, situated partly in Watertown and partly in Newton.11
Gregory lived in that part of Watertown now Newton in 1672; next year was of Watertown, yet had some years been at Mendon, was there selectman 1669; of Watertown again, 1684, and at Cambridge was selectman 1678, and after.2
Gregory first married Mary [Cook]. Mary died on 17 Aug 1681 in Newton, MA.11
Was Mary the Mary White (or Constable) who married a Gregory Cooke 25 Sep 1645 at Rattlesden, Suffolk?
Their children include:
On 1 Nov 1681 Gregory second married Susanna Stowers.11 Susanna died aft 29 Jun 1695.
Susanna first married George Wheeler, second Edward Goodwin, third Gregory Cook, and fourth Henry Spring.
