Benjamin was a private of the Second Regiment Militia, Middlesex County, and a Captain in the Colonial Army in the Revolution. He was a private in Capt. Timothy Walker’s Co., Col. Greene’s Reg., Wilmington. He was first drafted 3 Jun 1777, was in the Dunstable Training Band 26 Jun 1776, and on the Alarm list.38

Abstract of Will: Benjamin Jaquith of Wilmington, signed 1 May 1783, mentions his wife Hannah (daughter of Walker), son James (who was to receive the homestead after Hannah’s decease), eldest son Samuel (who received “The Thompson Place on which he now Dwells”), youngest son Nathan, eldest daughter Judith, daughters Hannah & Abigail. Executor: son James. Witnesses: Abijah Thompson, Leonard Thompson & Sam^l Thompson. Signed Benjamin Jaquith.38
