ca 1697 Abigail married Thomas Richardson (18308) , son of Thomas Richardson (7189) (4 Oct 1645-25 Feb 1720/1) & Mary Stephenson (17 Jan 1646/7-7 Jun 1690). Born on 30 Dec 1675 in Billerica, MA.145 Thomas died in Billerica, MA, on 18 Mar 1717/8; he was 42.145

From the Richardson Memorial:145
    Thomas “was a farmer, and spent his life in Billerica.  His father gave him, while living, a large farm, which was confirmed to his widow and children by agreement of the other heirs, in an instru-ment recorded Midd. Prob. Records, xvii. 126, 127, 128.  The farm consisted of eighty seven acres of upland on the south-east side of Shawshin River, forty five acres of meadow and upland on Lubber's Brook, an affluent of the Shawshin, and two acres of meadow in Content Meadow; besides rights in the homestead, and thirty pounds received in the father's life-time.
    “[Thomas] died before his father, March 18, 1717-18, aged 42. Abigail, his widow, died June 4, 1758; and the property was then confirmed to the children.
    “In 1756, the children, Martha, wife of Thomas Hosley, Ruth, wife of William Tarbell, Sarah, wife of Francis Crosby, Susanna, unmarried, Abigail Hill, widow, and Anna, wife of Samuel Bailey, of Lancaster, united in a written engagement to support their mother, widow Abigail Richardson.  [Midd. Prob. Records.]”

11754. Dea. John Ruggles. Born on 16 Mar 1679 in Roxbury, MA.43 John died in Scituate, MA, on 5 Dec 1772; he was 93.116 Buried in South Parish Cemetery, Norwell.

John "came to Scituate in 1719. He purchased lands of John Barstow's heirs, midway between Herring brook hill, or the south Meeting-house and Jordan lane. His house was twenty rods south of the present road."6

On 24 May 1704 when John was 25, he first married Sarah Fielder, daughter of Stephen Fielder (ca 1656-1686) & Mary Griggs (ca 1658/9-), in Roxbury, MA.43 Born on 30 May 1685 in Roxbury, MA. Sarah died bef Oct 1720.

Buried in Church Hill Cem., Norwell.

Jonathan and Martha were half-first cousins since his mother and her father were half-siblings.

Martha married Jonathan Smith (11762) , son of John Smith (19 Oct 1655-7 Oct 1722) & Abigail Day (3746) (22 Apr 1661-ca 1725). Born on 11 Feb 1685 in Dedham, MA. Jonathan died in Needham, MA, on 22 Apr 1752; he was 67.
