On 18 May 1694 Mary married Capt. John Woodbury, son of Hugh Woodbury (ca 1625-17 Apr 1702) & Mary Dixey (ca 1634-1705), in Bristol, RI.309 Born on 5 Sep 1658 in Salem, MA. John died in Bristol, RI, on 3 Mar 1698/9; he was 40. Occupation: Mariner.

18204. John Reynolds. Born on 4 Aug 1668 in Boston, MA.226 John died in Bristol, RI, on 30 Jan 1757; he was 88.309 He died unmarried.

John was a member of the second church at Newport and died in Bristol.2

John died unmarried. His will, dated 10 Mar 1749/50 and proved 1 Mar 1757, named brothers Joseph and Benjamin Raynolds; cousin (nephew) John Raynolds son of brother Benjamin Raynolds; cousins (nieces) Anna and Sara Raynolds, daughters of brother Benjmain Raynolds; cousin (niece) Priscilla Paine widow of Stephen Paine Esq deceased; cousin (nephew) Peter Raynold of Enfield; and cousin Mary Bradford of Bristol.309

18205. Capt. Peter Reynolds. Born on 26 Jan 1670 in Boston, MA.226 At the age of <1, Peter was baptized in Boston, MA, on 29 Jan 1670.226 Peter died bet 8 Dec 1726 and 28 Jun 1728.309

Peter served as a captain in the Bristol Company of the Rhode Island Militia.97

18207. Ens. Joseph Reynolds. Born on 29 Dec 1676 in Boston, MA.226 Joseph died in Bristol, RI, on 16 Jan 1759; he was 82.309

Joseph built the mansion called ‘Willowmere’ on High Street in Bristol which was still standing in 1926. He became a freeman of RI in 1747, and on 10 Feb 1746/7 he took the Oath of Bribery and Corruption at a town meeting held in Bristol. He was buried in thee old East Cemetery in Bristol under a stone carved with the Reynolds coat of arms which showed three foxes on the shield. The will of Joseph Reynolds of Bristol, ‘Inman’, dated 16 Feb 1757 and proved 5 Feb 1759, mentioned: sons Joseph and Samuel Reynolds; daughters Phebe wife of Daniel Waldron, and Elizabeth Watson of Plymouth deceawsed; and two grandchildren, John and Elizabeth Watson, children of his daughter Elizabeth Watson of Plymouth deceased.309

Joseph served in 1713 as a Lieut. with the Bristol Company of the Rhode Island Militia.97

On 28 Aug 1718 when Joseph was 41, he married Phebe Leonard, daughter of Maj. George Leonard (18 Apr 1671-5 Sep 1716) & Anna Tisdale (23 Jan 1673-1 Sep 1733), in Norton, MA.309 Born on 1 Mar 1696 in Norton, MA.309 Phebe died in Bristol, RI, on 18 Dec 1744; she was 48.309

On 6 Jan 1704 when Hannah was 22, she married Samuel Royal (7808) , son of Isaac Royal (say 1644-7 Jun 1729) & Ruth Tolman (2179) (ca 1644-1 May 1681), in Bristol, RI. Born on 21 Jul 1677 in Dorchester, MA. Samuel died between 1739 and 1743 in Bristol, RI. Occupation: House Carpenter.

Samuel’s will was dated 10 Dec 1739 and proved 27 Jul 1743. It mentions his wife Hannah; daughter Priscilla Paine, wife of Capt. Stephen Paine, who was to use all of the testator’s reaq estate until the testator’s grandson, Royal Paine, turned 21; two grandsons, Stephen Paine and Royal Paine, both under 21; wife to be executor.309

Benjamin was appointed on 16 Sep 1722 as guardian of Thomas Rawson, over 14, son of Wilson Rawson of Uxbridge, MA. Benjamin became a freeman of RI from Bristol in 1747, and on 10 Feb 1746/7 he took the Oath of Bribery and Corruption at the town meeting in Bristol, together with his father and brother Joseph, Jr. His will, he cordwainer of Bristol and far advanced in years, dated 24 Oct 1769, proved 7 Jan 1771, named sons Benjmain, John, and Grindall Reynols, daughters Mary Rawson, Sarah Weld, and Ann Reynolds.309

1708/9 Benjamin married Susannah Rawson (27043) , daughter of Rev. Grindall Rawson (20567) (23 Jan 1659-6 Feb 1715) & Susannah Wilson (15115) (1 Dec 1664-8 Jul 1748).309 Born on 3 Oct 1686 in Mendon, MA.309 Susannah died on 11 Aug 1762; she was 75.309

Benjamin and Susannah joined the Congregational Church of Bristol on 16 Sep 1722.
