On 6 Jun 1824 when Amos was 76, he second married Ruth Stodder (11934) , daughter of Benjamin Stodder (34785) (18 Nov 1708-) & Ruth Curtis (3866) (24 Feb 1711/2-), in Hingham, MA. Born on 13 Sep 1745 in Scituate, MA.116 Ruth died in Hingham, MA, on 25 Jun 1830; she was 84.
Ruth’s third husband, Amos Sprague, was the widower of Ruth’s sister Desire. He was also a first cousin of her first husband, Benjamin Stodder.
